AT TIMES, IN THE DARKEST NIGHTS…
At times, I feel so numb
that I check my pulse
In order to see
If I am actually alive
At times, it’s so dark and gloomy
that I feel the universe
has changed its cycle
and now it will never be day again
only nights of gloominess and melancholy
Despair will dominate the holy earth
and humans will feed on hatred and disgust
At times, it is so cold outside
It feels like the sun has forgotten to rise
But then, I remember the golden words
that at the darkest of times, you rise and shine
It transforms you into a much stronger and more beautiful you
that is when I keep my head up
and face the gloominess of those darkest nights
With all the power, and all the strength
and with the hope that it will be a day again!
