SOJOURNER FOR LIFE…

They have no idea what its like to have your entire life split between 2 completely different geographic locations. Its difficult to call a place home when you are only a goddamn visitor for once a year. Its difficult to split your heart into two parts, one craving for a serene homeland that it takes all your pain away and the other longing for a city busy all day and night with its crowded streets so different from the ones you grew up in. One day you liked the busyness yet the other day, you want more of peace.
You become a person torn between two personalities, one of a modern technological era who knows that time is money and who only knows of wanting more from life and who keeps running everyday behind trivial things like a raise, a house, another good job. While the other personality wants only serenity, it knows only peace, it wants a life in the mountains away from all this chaos, it wants to wake up to the scenery of clouds drifting away and the sun appearing from behind the mountains, it wants to wake up to the sounds of birds chirping amd life going on as if its not a race, as if you dont have to keep running in the race of life, as if these trivial things dont matter and the only things that matter is the ones you call family. You growup to be a confused personality never really sure of whch choise to make, which personality to pick and which lifestyle to let go of. May be you never really want to let go of any. May be you try living with both because both are now home to you. Both are a part of you.
But they wont get it that its difficult when you dont know what to call home; the place you growup in but are now only a visitor or the one you live in but your heart never feels at home. May be thats how life works, may be you always have to live this way, driftung from one place to another, moving from one lifestyle to another till your time is up on of the face of the earth.
May be you always remain a sojourner for life.
